We have decided to have our Meetings EVERY 2nd SUNDAY in the month
in Waverton Village Hall, Waverton, Nr. Wigton, Cumbria
The following
Dates for our Meetings - Speakers to be confirmed

Spring Sands Bird Sale
and Exhibition Day
- Doors Open to
the Public 10a.m.
- Entry Fee £5 -
Non-transferable wristbands will be issued.
- The Exhibition
Birds are for sale and if purchased can be released for removal
by 12noon - after judging
- No Birds to be
bought or sold before General Public allowed in at 10a.m.
- CATCHING PENS
will be provided and MUST BE USED to swap birds into new cages
- An Avian Vet
will be in attendance
- No dirty or
overcrowded cages will be allowed into the Sale Room
- Bio security
precautions will be in force.

We have our next table top sale on Sunday 13th April,
12:00 noon at Bramshaw Village Hall (SO40 7JE) a few
minutes from junction 1 of the M27. Our membership has
increased to over 750 and members have already booked 38
tables so there should be some nice quality birds there.
Membership can be obtained on the door for £1.50 (single),
£2.50 (family membership), any members wanting tables £3.50

Please
be at your chosen pick-up point 10 mins b4 bus due
No birds allowed on bus in cardboard boxes - bring or buy a
wooden cage/box - Put yr Name & address on it.
Keep any goods in carrier bags on the bus with you don't put
in boot - to prevent any loss.
I will leave these Details on
here for for Reference for future Trips - Please also note
from now on all Trips are to be paid for up Front to prevent
people from Booking and then not bothering to turn up esp.
when other people are on the Waiting Lists to go and then
they miss out!
As from 8th June 2008 Meeting
Cost of Trips p.p. will increase from £5-£7 for members and
£12-£15 Non-members - this is due to the increase in Diesel
and the hire of the bus which has increased from £275 per
Trip to £500 per Trip.
